Videx uses a local media engine that supports many public and authorized sources. Support can change when a source changes its player, access rules, or API.

What Videx does not promise

Every website, URL, or media format.
DRM, paywall, access-control, or platform-restriction bypassing.
Unauthorized copying of media.

When a source fails

Unsupported source

Update Videx, then check whether the local engine currently supports the source.

Login required

Use a local cookie file only when you are authorized and the source permits it.

DRM protected

Videx cannot process DRM-protected media.

Outdated engine

Install the latest Videx release and try again.

Responsible use

Download only media you own or have permission to save. Keep cookie files on your own computer, protect them like passwords, and delete temporary files when they are no longer needed.
